First, you will have to look at his or her fashion style. The emo fashion style is not difficult to notice as it has some striking features that make it unique. The genre has been influenced by other varieties such as goth and punk. They adopted the black color as well to use as their trademark.

The emo culture has been in existence since the 1980s but has only been intensified in the late 1990s. One reason may be is because the generation of today is much more active and alive with experimentation in them. You can see a lot of emo boys wearing tight shirts and pants. They usually have fringes that cover one eye or both. Their hair is black for most teenagers. Some have gone beyond the black color and played with lively colors such as blue and red as well.
